Financial Aid & Payment Options

Below are the financial aid options that the Institute offers.  Check back often. After we complete the accreditation process we will be able to offer Federal Student Loan programs and Grants - this is expected in late 2008.

20% Pre-Payment Discount

When you pay for your tuition up front, you automatically qualify for 20% off our tuition price! As long as we have payment in full one week before class starts, you will receive the discount. This will save students almost $1,600 off our Basic Esthetician Program, and nearly $3,000 off the price of our Comprehensive Masters program!
To receive the discount, we will accept cash, check, student loan funds (see below), and major credit cards.

Student Loans

Until we have completed the accreditation process, we are unable to accept Federal Student Loans (Title IV funds-- FAFSA).

Many of our students take out a private student loan. This financing option is available now to all of our students. This loan is offered directly to the student. The interest rate is in the ballpark of 6.0% to 15%, depending upon the credit and income of the applicant and co-applicant.  There is a deferment option, terms up to 10 years, and living expenses can be included which is ideal for the person looking to change careers.

PRIVATE STUDENT LOAN LENDERS:

• Mountain America Credit Union (Recommended by SSI). MACU is a local Salt Lake City Credit Union offering all types of financial products. They offer one-on-one service. Please contact the student loan department at (801) 325-6574, or visit their website at http://www.macu.com to find a branch near you.
• Sallie Mae (SLM Financial) Sallie Mae (or SLM) is a large national student loan company. They have a loan program for students attending our school. The approval process can be a bit lengthy. We definitely recommend students start with Mountain America (see above).
