Brett Hamilton, Institute Director, Salt Lake Campus

Licensed Master Esthetician and Instructor

Brett has been a makeup artist for over 11 years and is an experienced skin care professional. He entered the skin care industry in 2012 and graduated from The Skin Science Institute with Honors. Brett completed the Internship program and became an instructor before becoming the Institute Director. He is also the Makeup Director for a local Haunted attraction and runs his own local Spa. Brett enjoys teaching as much as working in the industry and when he’s not working he spends most of his time outdoors.


Elise Smith, Admissions, Salt Lake & Utah County Campus

Elise has always loved the health and beauty industry and enjoys learning all she can about skin, beauty and product knowledge. She has been a part of the esthetic industry for 3 years. With her knowledge and experience, she is dedicated in helping students find their way in the esthetic industry and hopes to share her commitment to this school with each one of them. She has worked with youth for many years and enjoys counseling and helping students with their needs. She received an education in Psychology and is thoroughly satisfied in the direction her career has gone. She also has a passion for guidance counseling and helping students accomplish their goals. She hopes to continue to help this school succeed and grow as well as help others accomplish a fulfilling career in the esthetics industry.


Kristen Spencer, Financial Aid Director, Salt Lake & Utah County Campus

With a Bachelor’s degree in Health Science, Kristen has always been interested in how to keep the body healthy.  After managing a health gym, Kristen found her way into the world of esthetics.  She enjoys helping students see that their goals for higher education are achievable and working with them to make it happen.


Hailee Toone, Licensed Master Esthetician and Instructor

Hailee is a skin care professional who graduated from Paul Mitchell in 2009 and started working at the Sanctuary Day Spa. She has always been fond of all things beauty and skin care related. As she gained experience in the industry, it became clear how much she enjoyed the opportunity to allow others to look and feel their best. Hailee continues to work at the Sanctuary, but she truly loves to share her knowledge and practical experiences with her students. She is continually expanding her education and is grateful to her students who teach her something new every day.


Debbie Perkins, Licensed Master Esthetician and Instructor, Licensed Massage Therapist, Salt Lake


After being a massage therapist for 12 years and teaching massage since 2005, Debbie decided to expand her knowledge in the skin care industry. She attended Skin Science Institute, graduated with honors as a master esthetician, and applied for the internship to become an instructor. She loves teaching and interacting with the students. Debbie is a busy mother of four and spends her off time enjoying the slower country life in Idaho.


Whitney Nelson, Licensed Master Esthetician and Instructor, Licensed Cosmetologist, Salt Lake Campus

Whitney has been working in the beauty industry for six years. She received her cosmetology license from the Taylor Andrews Academy of Hair Design in 2009. This is where she discovered her love and passion for esthetics. She got her Master Esthetics license from Skin Science Institute and graduated with honors. After graduating she completed the instructor internship program and is now working as an instructor and spa manager. While in school she found passion for the medical side of the esthetics industry. Her favorite treatments include laser hair reduction, micro-needling, and chemical peels. Her favorite part of being an esthetician is being able to educate clients about their skin and to give them results that can change their entire self-image.


Karlie Haslem, Licensed Master Esthetician and Instructor, Salt Lake Campus

After graduating as a Master Esthetician, Karlie had the desire to continue her education and training as a Master Esthetic Instructor. Karlie loves being a part of the SkinScience team. She feels that instructing gives her the opportunity to share her love for beauty and skincare to those who have the same passion. Her favorite subjects to teach are holistic treatments, eyelash extensions and makeup. In her free time, Karlie is usually out on the golf course, doing yoga or hanging out on the lake with her husband and dog.


Chantyl Staley, Director, Licensed Master Esthetician and Instructor, Utah County Campus

After attending two years at Snow College on a soft ball scholarship, Chantyl decided to join the Skin Science family. Though she enjoyed the traditional college experience, she grew a passion for skin care and beauty. After completing her Master Esthetics program with honors, she went on to work at a full service day spa where she learned essential skills about the industry and working with clients. Chantyl decided to share her passion of esthetics, and work with students, as an instructor for 5 years before becoming Director at the Utah County campus. Chantyl has a great desire to use her skills and knowledge she has acquired and share it with students who have the same passion about skin care as she does. Our Utah County campus wouldn’t be the same without her great outlook on life and skin!


Danielle Oberhansley, Licensed Master Esthetician and Instructor, Utah County Campus

After graduating Master Esthetics with honors from Dallas Roberts Academy in 2005, Danielle started working in day spas; she loves the holistic healing aspect of esthetics, balancing mind, body, and spirit.  She spent 5 years working hand in hand with Dermatologists.  Her love for medical esthetics grew working on lasers, assisting with cancer surgeries, and doing clinical esthetic treatments.  In 2013, she became an Instructor and joined the Skin Science team.  She enjoys educating and helping students find a passion for skincare of their own, and is grateful to continue her journey of learning something new every day.  She spends all her free time with her husband and two kids, and will try just about anything at least once.


Chelsey, Licensed Master Esthetician and Instructor, Licensed Massage Therapist, Utah County Campus

Chelsey is a graduate of SkinScience Institute, and Boulder College of Massage Therapy.  Gratefully, her passions coincide well!  Anatomy and Physiology, Herbology and Aromatherapy, and continuing her education are what she loves and finds incredibly important.  She has worked in resorts, wellness centers, and private practices.  She is currently enrolled in University classes and in the process of becoming a Registered Yoga Instructor.  When she isn’t working and studying, you can find her working with her clients, outside longboarding or paddleboarding, doing yoga, and jamming at Reggae concerts.

Malorie Parker, Licensed Master Esthetician and Instructor, Utah County Campus

After graduating from Viewmont High School in 2011, Malorie knew she wanted a career in esthetics. She attended NIMA and fell in love with educating and enjoyed helping and teaching others. She joined the SkinScience Institute team shortly after as a receptionist. She gained a wide range of valuable skills, working both with the SkinScience Institute clients and students. She decided to enroll in the instructor internship with SkinScience Institute, and later joined our instructor team. In her spare time she enjoys being with family and friends.


Becky Stafford, Licensed Master Esthetician and Instructor, Utah County Campus

After attending the University of Denver for 2 years, Becky realized she need to do something more hands on. She moved to Arizona to be closer to her family and found the International Institute of Aesthetics in Scottsdale. There she received her aesthetics license in 2004. She has worked in salons, spas, medical spas and finally ended up working for the world headquarters of PCA SKIN, a medical skin care line of chemical peels and daily care regimens. Here she found her new love of educating fellow aestheticians. Once moving to Utah in 2013 she found this to be the perfect opportunity to receive her instructor’s license and finally was able to get a position at the Skin Science Institute in Orem.


Angie Pace, Licensed Master Esthetician and Instructor, Utah County Campus

Angie graduated from UVU with honors with her associates in Behavior Science. She then decided to attend Mandalyn Academy, graduating top in her class as a Master Esthetician. She has worked as a Master Esthetician for four years in day spas and out of her home spa and has loved every minute of it.  She has a passion for working with and helping people. She finds it very rewarding educating clients about their skincare and being able to pamper someone during a treatment. Her next step in her career was to become an Esthetics Instructor. She now thrilled to work for Skin Science and share her passion with new students and get them excited about this amazing industry.  In her spare time she enjoys watching her two kids play sports and going camping with fa
